2018 Property Tax Collection Dates

For the 2018 tax year, the last day to pay summer taxes without incurring any interest is Friday, September 14, 2018.  The Treasurer's office will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive tax payments on this date.  (The last day taxes are due and payable before interest is added.)

The last day to pay 2018 property taxes without incurring any penalty is Thursday February 14, 2019. 

The last day to pay 2018 property taxes before they are returned as delinquent is Thursday, February 28, 2019.  The Treasurer's office will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to receive tax payments on this date. (The last day taxes are due and payable before being returned as delinquent.)

Checks should be payable to:  Hay Township Treasurer

Checks are the preferred payment method, if you plan to pay in cash, please bring the correct amount; we do not have a cash system and may not be able to make change.

Post Marks are not accepted, payment must be received by the due dates.

Chemical bank-you may also pay at the main Chemical Bank branch located at 1016 E. Cedar Ave., Gladwin.  Late payments are not accepted at the bank.

Credit/Debit--You may now pay your tax bills by Visa, MasterCard & Discover.  Link is provided near the bottom of the home page.  Convenience fee 3%.

Tuesday is Garbage Pick Up Day in Hay Twp.

You are allowed 6 bags and 1 large item per week.

YARD WASTE PICK UP IS ON WED. NOV. 7

Waste Management will be picking up yard waste in Hay Twp. on Wed. Nov. 7, 2018.
Please use compost bags or cans, clearly marked yard waste and under 50 lbs.  Tied
bundles of branches should be no longer than 4 ft. in length.  Branches should be no
more than 1 inch in diameter.
